How to clean grout in your bathroom?
After coming across many different strategies for cleaning grout in your bathroom, we’ve found that one in particular stands out. It’s a simple, yet sometimes very effective method. To get started, all you’d need is a spray bottle, some vinegar, water, a scrubbing brush, a small bowl and some baking soda.
When you’re ready, simply mix a ratio of 1:1 water and vinegar in a spray bottle. Then apply the solution to the grout, wait a moment and then try scrubbing with your brush. If this doesn’t seem to be working, we’ll add a little more oomph into the solution.
Start again by making sure you have enough water/vinegar solution. After dong so, grab your small bowl and create a paste with the baking soda and water. Try not to make it too watery though!
Next, you’ll want to spray your grout with the vinegar and water solution and let it sit for a few moments. You can then use the scrubbing brush to get the baking soda solution to mix with the vinegar solution on the grout. You’ll notice that the baking soda will being to foam. Start scrubbing away and see if this helps!
Will this work with all grout?
Not necessarily. Depending on how much grime you have built-up on your grout and the time that it has spent there will usually determine the effectiveness of the solution.
At Wizard Tile & Grout Cleaning W.A, we recommend that if this method doesn’t work then you should definitely call in the professionals. Our team of tile and grout cleaners are very experienced in this field and it won’t take them very long to have your grout looking as clean and as new as possible.
