Pumpkin Stains on Carpet
Pumpkins are used as a Halloween tradition to carve Jack-o’-lanterns and they are perfect as internal or external decorations. However, the lush orange colouring can stain carpets, rugs and they can leave a permanent stain on floors if they are not cleaned off properly.
When you have a pumpkin stain, mix a little bit of baking soda in a warm bowl of water, then use a white cleaning cloth to dip into the mixture and press gently onto the stain a few times until it lifts. After the area is completely dry, you can pass over it with the vacuum cleaner.
Remove Chocolate Stains
Chocolate and kids are the perfect combination for leaving sticky stains everywhere, and chocolate
stains can be a nightmare to try to get rid of, especially when on the floor or on the sofa. So, the best way to remove chocolate stains is to wipe the chocolate residue very gently as much as you can, then mix one tablespoon of baking soda with two cups of cold water and use a white cleaning cloth to wipe the stain. Repeat until the stain is clear. Be careful not to force the stain deeper into the fibres of the sofa or carpet.
Halloween Makeup
What would Halloween be without makeup? It definitely helps to give that special effect to your costume, but it can also become a real horror if you don’t clean it straight away. Makeup sticks
everywhere, especially carpets, sofas, walls, and clothes. If you have this problem, you can try baking soda with cold water. Pour a little bit into the stain, let it sit for a few minutes, rinse and repeat.
